Las Vegas Raiders vs Kansas City Chiefs

Las Vegas Raiders

The Raiders are struggling after starting the season with three losses, though they finally bounced back to clinch a victory over the Broncos last week. They have averaged just 24.0 points per game while allowing 25.0 per game.

The Raiders will rely on their QB Derek Carr and RB Josh Jacobs. Carr has thrown six touchdowns with 94 completions on 154 attempts this season. Meanwhile, Jacobs has managed 336 rushing yards with two touchdowns to lead their ground game. Against a Chiefs team that can put up points in bunches, Carr and Jacobs will need to play at a high level to give the Raiders a chance here.

Coach Josh McDaniels is still waiting for LB Denzel Perryman (ruled out in the last game) and CB Rock Ya-Sin (knee strain) to return as their defensive reinforcements against the Chiefs.

Kansas City Chiefs

The Chiefs are coming into this game with high confidence. They started the season with two victories, then lost to the Indianapolis Colts. They returned to the winning path after taking home a 41-31 victory over the Buccaneers on Sunday Night Football last week. The team's stats look promising, having as they have averaged 32.3 points per game.

QB Patrick Mahomes has been exceptional since the season opener, managing 97 completions out of 146 attempts. Mahomes also has thrown 11 touchdowns against two interceptions this season so far. The Chiefs are led by Clyde Edwards-Helaire's 208 rushing yards and two touchdowns on the ground.

There are three Kansas City players on IR, including Trent McDuffie (hamstring), Blake Bell (hip) and Justyn Ross (foot surgery).
