Orlando Guardians
The Orlando Guardians have been unquestionably the worst team in the XFL so far this season. They have dropped their first two games to the Roughnecks and Brahmas, giving up an average of 31.5 points per game while scoring just 12.0 points per game. Here, they will look to turn things around, starting with the Arlington Renegades on the road.
Guardians coach Terrell Buckley made his displeasure known with his team's performance after Week 2 against San Antonio, but it is unclear as to where their improvement is going to come from. They have thrown a league-high four interceptions so far this season, and limiting their turnovers would be a great starting point as they attempt to resemble something of a professional football team.
Arlington Renegades
The Arlington Renegades are 1-1 to start this season, but they have not been impressive on the offensive side of the ball at all. They have a total of two offensive touchdowns so far this season, with their defense packing more of a scoring punch than their offense so far. That is uncharacteristic of a Bob Stoops coached team, and the Renegades will need to find some offense to avoid a humiliating defeat as a heavy favorite against Orlando.
It has been inexplicable to see Drew Plitt as the starter of the Renegades so far this season. With a more talented and more experienced option in Kyle Sloter wasting away on the bench, the Renegades' offensive rut could remain unless Stoops makes a significant change at the most important position on the field.
