Alabama Crimson Tide
The Alabama Crimson Tide went 10-2 this season and are ranked fifth in the nation coming into the Sugar Bowl. But they were in a position that they are not used to going into this game, as they failed to qualify for the SEC title game. Alabama finished the regular season with three straight wins, but it was their loss to LSU in November that cost them a shot at the national title this season.
