New Orleans Pelicans

The absence of Brandon Ingram made a significant difference for the Pelicans, as the Grizzlies were able to focus their pressure more intently on CJ McCollum, resulting in the team playing poorly.

He still recorded a double-double of 32 points, 11 assists, and six rebounds while shooting an impressive 13 of 21 from the field and 5 of 10 from deep. Herb Jones and Jonas Valanciunas were the only starters to reach double figures, each with ten points.

But, with the Grizzlies leading by 19 points at halftime with a game the next night, coach Willie Green used his backups more, and as a result, Willie Hernangomez (17 points, nine rebounds) and Naji Marshall (16 points) saw increased playing time and excelled.

Brandon Ingram (hamstring) is doubtful for Wednesday's game. Larry Nance Jr. (knee) has been ruled out indefinitely. Kira Lewis Jr. (ACL) is out for the season, while Williamson (foot) remains out.

Orlando Magic

Wendell Carter Jr. returned to the lineup after skipping the previous two games and was a threat with 20 points and 12 rebounds. Mo Bamba, his frontcourt companion, came one point (nine) short of matching him with 15 rebounds.

Mo Wagner, Cole Anthony, and Markelle Fultz were the other three players to reach double figures. Jalen Suggs (ankle) is unclear to make an appearance. Markelle Fultz (knee), who returned after 14 months, isn't noted on the injury report, but considering the back-to-back situation, it wouldn't be shocking if he was rested. Meanwhile, Jonathan Isaac (knee) and Bol Bol (foot) are both on the sidelines indefinitely.
