It is still unclear whether WRs Terry Lockett Jr and Jayden Reed are going to play in Saturday's game against the Huskies because of undisclosed injuries.
Washington Huskies
The Washington Huskies have played well to open the 2022 college football season. The Huskies met the Kent State Golden Flashes in their first week, beating them 45-20. The key player of the game was Michael Penix Jr., who threw for 345 yards and four touchdowns.
Penix had another great performance again in Week 2, throwing for 337 yards and two touchdowns. Wayne Taulapapa also significantly contributed to that game by rushing for 94 yards and a touchdown. The Huskies finished their second game with a 52-6 victory over the Portland State Vikings.
Jaxson Kirkland, Tristan Dunn, Armon Parker and Rome Odunze have had to miss the previous games due to some injuries for the Huskies. Whether they will suit up and play against Michigan State on Saturday remains unclear.
