Dallas Cowboys
Going into the playoffs, the Dallas Cowboys suffered a loss in Week 18 against the Washington Commanders. That loss was concerning, given that the Commanders were playing backup quarterback Sam Howell. It was also concerning because the Cowboys saw Dak Prescott struggle once again.
Prescott has turned the ball over at an alarming rate this season, as he is tied with Derek Carr and Matt Ryan for the most interceptions in the league. Tampa Bay's defense has been excellent at home this year, and that could force Prescott into more mistakes in this win or go home game.
Tampa Bay Buccaneers
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers had nothing to play for in Week 18 of the regular season. They played Tom Brady and their starters for a little more than half of their game against the Atlanta Falcons, then sat Brady for the remainder of the contest. Now, after a little rest, the Bucs will look to win outright as an underdog at home against the Dallas Cowboys.
For the Buccaneers to win this game, getting something out of their running game would be a huge boost. Tampa ranks at the bottom of the league in rushing yards per game, but could really use some production out of Leonard Fournette to ease the pressure of Dallas' pass rush against Tom Brady.
