Denver Broncos
The Denver Broncos have had a disastrous season despite high expectations going in. They have been eliminated from playoff contention, and have the worst offense in the NFL despite Russell Wilson taking over at quarterback this year. This week, Wilson is expected to play against the Rams in Inglewood.
Of course, the question right now is whether or not it is good that Wilson is on the field. He has really had a hard time getting going for the Broncos this year, and it could be better to shut him down and try someone else to finish the season strong. But that does not appear to be the direction the Broncos are headed, which is interesting in and of itself.
Los Angeles Rams
The Los Angeles Rams lost last week on Monday Night Football, falling against the Green Bay Packers. Now, the Rams are out of playoff contention in the NFC, as their Super Bowl title defense has come to an end. But there are still three games to go, and the Rams are looking to get back into the win column at home against Denver.
Aaron Donald is not going to play this week for the Rams, as Sean McVay acknowledged that he could be shut down for the remainder of the season. Meanwhile, Baker Mayfield is going to play for the Rams again this week, as he will look to improve after a disappointing performance against the Packers in Week 15.
