The Cincinnati Bengals have won five straight games to reach 9-4 on the season. They have vaulted themselves to a tie for the top spot in the AFC North, and have a real chance to take the lead in the division given the injury situation surrounding Lamar Jackson for the Baltimore Ravens. Here, the Bengals will aim to use their high-powered offense to take out the Bucs.
For Cincinnati, the question coming into this game is how the Bengals deal with the injury concerns they have at the skill positions. They have Tee Higgins, Tyler Boyd, and Hayden Hurst all questionable coming into this matchup. How they are able to to operate with the possibility of being without one or more of those players is a vital concern.
Tampa Bay Buccaneers
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are at 6-7 on the season after they were blown out last week by the San Francisco 49ers on the road. Fortunately for the Bucs, they are still at the top of the NFC South standings after that loss. With that entire division sitting below the .500 mark on the year, Tampa Bay still controls its own destiny despite a less than impressive year thus far.
In this game, the key to this contest is going to be the play of the Tampa Bay defense. The Bucs do not have the offense to keep up with that of the Bengals, but they do have the defense to slow Cincinnati down. They will need to do just that to win this game and get back to .500 on the year.
