The Miami Heat will play the Philadelphia 76ers in the second round of the Eastern Conference NBA Playoff on Monday. The game will take place at FTX Arena in Miami, and begin at 7:30 p.m. ET.

The matchup is considered to be a heavy-weight game between the two teams. Miami has been coming out strong with the latest five-consecutive wins over the Atlanta Hawks.

Meanwhile, the 76ers also bagged a big 132-97 win against Toronto Raptors in Game 6 of the first-round series Thursday.

Both teams have their injury issues ahead of the game, but the most concerning one is the Sixers who will play without All-Star center Joel Embiid.

Philadelphia 76ers

Philadelphia's series-clinching victory over Toronto on Friday was a celebration and also a disaster with their key player Joel Embiid coming out with an injury after the game.

The injury occurred after Embiid got into a collision with Toronto's Pascal Siakam when the game was 3:58 minutes left to finish and the Sixers were leading by 29 points.

Philadelphia has since announced that Embiid is enduring a right orbital fracture and confirmed that he will be out indefinitely for the several games ahead, including the Heat's game.

Miami Heat

The Heat are eyeing their next Conference title and Tuesday's game against the Sixers could be the build-up to that fulfillment. But, since a couple of games prior, Miami has been dealing with issues of injuries of their key players.

During the Hawks game, which was played without All-Star Jimmy Butler (right knee inflammation) and Kyle Lowry (left hamstring injury), the Heat finished with other several players on their injury list: Tyler Herro, Caleb Martin, and P. J. Tucker.

The five players were reportedly not present during the Heat's practice on Friday, and coach Erik Spoelstra hasn't been able to confirm which of those five will return for the game against Philadelphia.
