If the Minnesota men's hockey team wants to win the NCAA championship, it will have to beat the defending champion in its home state of Massachusetts.
The NCAA announced on Sunday that the Minnesota Golden Gophers would be the second seed in the tournament's Massachusetts Regional. They'll play the University of Massachusetts at 6 p.m. ET on Friday at the DCU Center.
