After losing Game 1 to the Miami Heat, the Philadelphia 76ers will seek to even the series up in Game 2 on Wednesday night. The Sixers will still be without All-Star center Joel Embiid, who is out with a broken orbital bone.
Philadelphia is hoping that Embiid will be able to return at some point during the series. Likewise, the Heat will be without Kyle Lowry, who is still out with a hamstring injury. Miami was able to win Game 1 without Lowry, and they'll aim to replicate that success in Game 2.

In Game 1, Miami did a great job overall, but if there is one area where the Heat might improve, it would be their long-range shooting. In the first game, the Heat made just nine of 36 shots from beyond the arc as a team.
Erik Spoelstra's men underperformed behind the three-point line even though they were able to win the game. However, this isn't a trend that they'll want to maintain. Game 1 saw both Gabe Vincent and Max Strus shoot only 2 of 14 from beyond the arc combined.
76ers
In order to avoid a 0-2 deficit, James Harden needs to switch to higher gears in Game 2 later. In the first game, Harden had 16 points, nine rebounds, and five assists in 34 minutes.
At 24 minutes into the Game 1, the Sixers were in a good position. They came back from a double-digit deficit in the second quarter to take a one-point lead at halftime thanks to a tough bucket by Harden. However, from that point on, it was all going downhill. At halftime, the score was 56-41 in favor of Miami, which had outscored Philadelphia 30-21 in the third quarter.
The Sixers need to seize their chance even though without Embiid. James Harden, Tobias Harris, and Tyrese Maxey have to be in sync offensively for Game 2.
