These teams are both in danger of missing the playoffs this year, and the winner of this game could simply be the team that makes the fewest mistakes.

Why bet on the Rams:

✅ So far this season, the Packers have really struggled to win games by any sort of convincing margin. That will continue to be the case here
✅ Baker Mayfield led the Rams to a comeback win over the Las Vegas Raiders last week, and he is an upgrade over the injured Matt Stafford at quarterback right now
✅ The Packers are 1-3 against the spread in their last four home games

Los Angeles Rams

The Los Angeles Rams are more or less out of contention for the postseason, as they enter this week at 4-9. Losing this game would see them eliminated from playoff contention, and the Rams should come out with a sense of urgency as a result. The question is whether Baker Mayfield can look like the quarterback that played in the fourth quarter last week, instead of the one who played in the first three.

Mayfield and the Rams had just three points through three quarters against the Raiders on Thursday Night Football last week. But Mayfield led two late touchdown drives to steal that game away from Las Vegas. It will be interesting to see how the Rams build on that memorable moment here.

Green Bay Packers

The Green Bay Packers come into this game at 5-8 on the season, and they need to win out just to get to 9-8 on the season. A loss here would all but end their playoff hopes, as they look to get above the .500 mark at home on the season with a win. But the Packers have not been invincible at home like they have been in recent years, and they are by no means a sure thing against the LA Rams.

Green Bay is facing a Rams team that is missing several of its key players for this matchup. But as we saw last week, the Rams have the ability to overcome those injuries in short bursts. If the Packers do not play consistently well for four quarters, they could suffer a loss that would be devastating to their hopes of getting back to the postseason.
